Oncology Veterinary Care in Connecticut and West Massachusetts

Oncology

We understand that a diagnosis of cancer in your pet can be devastating news, but there is hope. Our staff will be with you and your pet from the very beginning to provide a personalized treatment plan. Using blood tests, x-rays, ultrasounds, and biopsies we will evaluate your pet’s individual case and discuss the best treatment options.

Treatment

We treat cancer in pets with many of the same therapies and drugs that prove successful in treating cancer in humans. Unlike humans, pets often do not experience the same negative side effects from cancer treatment, such as hair loss and nausea. Most pets remain happy and upbeat throughout the entire duration of the treatment.

We will discuss the advantages, disadvantages, and potential side effect of each option. Most importantly, we will discuss the quality of life of your pet when discussing the different treatment options with you. We will answer all of your questions and help you keep your family pet as healthy as possible for as long as possible.
