Pamela J. Kirk, DVM
Dr. Kirk graduated from veterinary school at Cornell University. She grew up in upstate New York surrounded by her family’s dogs, cats, goats, and horses and knew that she wanted a career working with animals. Dr. Kirk began her veterinary career caring primarily for horses but then transitioned into the hospital to work with small animal companions. She finds the medical and surgical aspects of veterinary medicine to be both challenging and interesting and loves that there is never a dull day at the hospital. The most rewarding aspect of Dr. Kirk’s work is nurturing the human/animal bond. The joy that pets bring into our lives is invaluable and they enhance the quality of our lives in so many ways. Dr. Kirk hopes to ensure that pets lead long, healthy, and happy lives as important members of families by placing an emphasis on preventative care and small animal medicine. She enjoys being a part of the Granby community where she and her husband, Dr. Violette, have raised two sons, one of whom is continuing the family tradition as a veterinary ophthalmologist.
