In the large animal division of the hospital we have 3 veterinarians who focus on treating and caring for large animals throughout Connecticut and neighboring states. Our fully equipped trucks allow us to provide any routine and emergency services that may be required. We utilize advanced portable imaging systems in order to evaluate cases on the farm. Our trucks are stocked with supplies needed to perform field surgeries, such as castrations and wound repairs. Our large animal treatment area located at the hospital allows us to manage more critical cases. It also allows us to accommodate to your needs and schedule.
Equine Services
Salmon Brook Equine Vets highly recommend having bi-annual wellness visits. We always start off your horse’s wellness exam by doing a physical to assess temperature, respiration, weight, and other important basic factors.
